New Yorker's high-quality blazers are made with great attention to detail, from the materials and tailoring to the comfort of your outfit. While we've paid attention to authentic features such as wool interlining and eight-stitch stitching, we've also added a stylish touch with comfort, ease of movement, a great fit, and a silhouette.
■Material
Woven on a Schonherr loom (an old-fashioned loom. The slow weaving speed allows the warp and weft threads to blend together, resulting in the natural fullness of the threads), the warp threads are made of fine organic wool and the weft threads are made of mohair-blend wool. This is an original New Yorker material that combines the luster and crispness of sustainably dyed organic wool and the mohair blend, and is yarn-dyed.
■Design
Single-breasted, three-button notch lapel. The 60cm length (size 9) falls to the hips, making it easy to balance with both skirts and pants. Three sides and darts create a feminine silhouette with a slight waistband. The buttons are gunmetal with a crest motif. The notch lapel button is fastened by fastening only the middle button and wearing it alone.
