Starbucks will release the "Starbucks Frozen Drink Maker" (3,000 yen) on May 13th.

This is a device that allows you to easily make Frappuccinos like the ones Starbucks offers at home. After placing the container in the freezer to freeze, all you have to do is add juice or other ingredients and stir. In about seven minutes, a sorbet-like drink will be ready.

In addition, to coincide with the product launch, Starbucks is proposing a recipe using the stick-type "Starbucks VIA Flavored Coffee." Add 180cc of milk to one pack to create a coffee-flavored Frappuccino. Other recommended toppings include caramel sauce, or adding milk and gum syrup to "Starbucks Chai Full Leaf Tea."
