Global fitness brand Reebok, which has been attracting attention for its avant-garde designs and has been involved in various collaborations since its debut in 2019, will release a new silhouette, "ZIG KINETICA HORIZON," as well as new color models, on August 7, 2020.
■ About "ZIG KINETICA" for the Fall/Winter 2020 Season
The new "ZIG KINETICA" features a bold colorway that defies stereotypes. This upgraded model uses improved materials to better experience the "Energy Return System," which converts the energy generated by forward movement into overwhelming rebound force. While retaining its roots as a running shoe, the shoe is designed for a variety of uses beyond just sports, with features like a transparent midsole called the "ZIG ENERGY SHELL" for enhanced stability and durability, and an outsole that stretches like a rubber band for a springy feel.

The newly released "ZIG KINETICA HORIZON" is a new unisex silhouette based on the "ZIG KINETICA," featuring a streamlined overall body designed with the characteristics of women's feet in mind. The mesh upper provides excellent breathability, and the heel cap provides excellent support for increased mobility. Another notable feature is the color design inspired by the source of energy. The coloring this time expresses the "horizon light" emitted by sunsets and sunrises and the powerful energy that color embodies, and was designed with the image of giving strength to those who start a new day. The striking striped pattern with pop colors that flits across the side is a contemporary accent for the entire shoe.

The midsole represents the idea of visualizing energy and the appearance of colored energy particles reacting with each other and exploding, resulting in a dynamic and energetic design. The colorway, a blend of red, blue, and yellow, recalls the original colorway of the "ZIG" when it was released as a running shoe in 2009.
