niko and ..., a style editorial brand operated by Adastria Co., Ltd., whose mission is "Play fashion!", is collaborating with "Ito," the film adaptation of Miyuki Nakajima's classic song. Following the first announcement on March 6th, we are now revealing details of the second collaboration, which will begin on July 31st.


The film "Ito" is scheduled for release on August 21, 2020. With niko and ... brand ambassadors Masaki Suda and Nana Komatsu starring in the film, we are currently working on various collaborative projects. Following the first announcement on Friday, March 6th, we are now revealing details of the second collaboration, which will begin on July 31st.

First, starting July 31st, the official online store, .st, will begin accepting pre-orders for collaboration T-shirts and collaboration tote bags (with original stickers) featuring scenes from the film. Additionally, a follow-and-retweet campaign will be held on Twitter, where five lucky winners will be entered into a raffle to win a set of collaboration T-shirts and posters autographed by Masaki Suda and Nana Komatsu. In addition, to coincide with the film's release on August 21st, not only will the collaboration T-shirts and collaboration tote bags be officially released, but a photo exhibition featuring original photos taken by Takumi Saito of his co-stars Masaki Suda, Nana Komatsu, and Ryota Katayose (GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE) will also be held at niko and ... TOKYO, niko and ... mozo wonder city, and niko and ... SHANGHAI. Additionally, "niko and ... COFFEE" will be offering a special menu that is a collaboration between "NEEDS," a real-life Hokkaido cheese factory that appears in the film, and "Nikopan," a popular menu item at "niko and ... COFFEE." The special website (https://www.nikoand.jp/ito-movie/) will also feature a project proposing styling ideas for niko and ... based on a scene from the film. This is a collaboration packed with content, so be sure to check it out.

■About the film "Ito"
The film's theme is "encounter," and the story is inspired by the song. It is an epic love story that depicts the lives of a man and a woman born in 1989, overlapping with the changes in the history of the Heisei era. One of the highlights is the location filming in each of the story's cities, Hokkaido, Tokyo, Okinawa, and Singapore. The film stars two of the most popular and talented young actors, Masaki Suda and Nana Komatsu, as well as an array of talented actors including Nana Eikura and Takumi Saito. The film is directed by Takahisa Sese, who has shown his solid directing skills in films such as "The 8-Year Engagement" and "64," and has been awarded at the Berlin International Film Festival. The screenplay was written by Tamio Hayashi, winner of the Japan Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for "Eternal Zero" and "Flying Tires." The music was composed by Seiji Kameda, a music producer known for numerous hit songs. The film, "Ito," woven by Japan's top cast and crew, will be released on Friday, August 21st.
