Mackintosh will release the third installment of its collaboration with Band of Outsiders, "Mackintosh x Band of Outsiders," in October. The collection's concept is to "reconstruct the traditional Mackintosh image" through the lens of Band of Outsiders, who represent "American preppy." This third and final season, the collection was inspired by the "family-run shop aesthetic" seen in the works of American painter Norman Rockwell. It pays homage to the DIY spirit that permeated American life in the 1940s and 1950s. The lineup includes a rubberized coat with a woodgrain print and a trench coat with white brushstrokes on denim. The DIY spirit is evident throughout the design.
