SMALL WORLDS TOKYO (hereinafter referred to as SMALL WORLDS TOKYO), one of the world's largest indoor miniature theme parks with a total area of approximately 8,000 square meters and operated by SMALL WORLDS Co., Ltd., held its grand opening in Ariake, Tokyo on June 11th.

Approximately two months after the originally scheduled grand opening of April 25th, guests eagerly awaiting today's grand opening formed a line in front of the entrance while maintaining social distancing.

To commemorate the grand opening, a video of a miniature ribbon-cutting ceremony was projected. This unique miniature theme park production heightened the grand opening. As staff members called out the grand opening, guests streamed in with smiles on their faces. They thoroughly enjoyed the facility, taking full advantage of COVID-19 precautions.

A mother and daughter couple, a woman in her 20s and a woman in her 50s from Saitama Prefecture, enthusiastically commented, "We're so glad we came today. We were so impressed that we could have looked at it forever. It was fascinating discovering each and every detail, thinking, 'Wow, they've recreated it down to this point!' 'Wow, there's these little gimmicks!' We'll definitely come again." They also commented with satisfaction, "COVID-19 precautions were in place not only at the entrance, but throughout the facility, so we were able to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind."

At SMALL WORLDS TOKYO, we aim to continue providing an extraordinary experience of "another world" created by moving miniatures, allowing you to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and "reset your mind" for a moment.
