On July 10th, the select shop OPENING CEREMONY OSAKA will be introducing a new content in collaboration with mintdesigns, allowing customers to create their own custom T-shirts by moving projected graphics.
The store, which opened last year, is based on the theme of fusing "digital art and fashion" and has partnered with teamLab to introduce digital content and offer a new shopping experience.
The collaboration will offer content that allows customers to create original T-shirts using the store's "Sketch Wall." The "Sketch Wall" projects geometric patterns across the entire wall, and the patterns react interactively when touched. During the event, 10 graphics by mintdesigns and 30 graphics by OPENING CEREMONY will be projected across the entire wall.
Visitors can touch the numerous graphics on the wall to choose their favorite pattern, and then use their bodies to adjust the size and position of the graphic. Finally, customers can check the color and size on the tablet and purchase, after which the T-shirt will be printed in-store and can be picked up on the same day. The price is 6,000 yen for "Opening Ceremony" items and 7,000 yen for "Mint Designs" items.
