Shiro launches its first makeup series based on ingredients that are good for the skin

Jan 24, 2017

Shiro, a cosmetics brand developed by Laurel, will release its first makeup series, Shiro Flax Nail, on February 3rd.

Shiro Flax Nail is characterized by its moisturizing linseed oil, which blends well with nails and provides moisture, and the base coat contains fine particles of shirasu clay (volcanic ash) mined from chiso trees in Kagoshima Prefecture, which smooths out any unevenness on the nail surface.

A total of 18 colors are available, ranging from colors that deliver the same color payoff with just one coat to colors that change appearance with multiple coats and allow for fun combinations. The makeup series lineup includes "shiro Flax Nails" (10ml/2,400 yen) in 18 colors, "shiro Ginger Lip Butter" (5g/3,800 yen) in 4 colors, "shiro Sheer Cheek Lip Butter" (5g/4,200 yen) in 5 colors, "shiro Gagome Kombu Primer Protect" (30ml/4,700 yen) in 1 color, and "shiro Tapioca Face Powder" (15g/5,000 yen) in 3 colors.

In addition, ahead of the February 3rd launch, "shiro Nail-Bar" will be open at Omotesando Hills for three days only from January 27th to 29th, where customers can try out all 18 nail colors from the series.
