Ginza Tsutaya Books will begin pre-sales of the Ginza Tsutaya Books limited edition "QLOCKTWO CLASSIC Creator's Edition Full Moon" on its online store from May 20th.
This product was created as a special project by Ginza Tsutaya Books, a bookstore that focuses on "art" and "Japanese culture" and offers new ideas. Like the "QLOCKTWO CLASSIC Creator's Edition Shooting Star" released earlier in February 2020, this watch uses lacquer, a traditional Japanese craft, entirely and features "maki-e" (gold-lacquer design) on an unprecedentedly large surface. (Available only at Ginza Tsutaya Books on the 6th floor of GINZA SIX.)
Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore has been temporarily closed since April 8th for the time being as a countermeasure against COVID-19.

Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore Limited Edition "Full Moon"
This limited edition model features beautiful curves drawn on a jet-black background. These curves are made of 24K gold and 22.7K gold mixed with silver, and the two distinct curves intersect to create a serene glow reminiscent of a full moon. This masterpiece was created by artisans at Yamada Heiando, a venerable lacquerware company founded in 1919 and a supplier to the Imperial Household Agency, who took on the challenge of applying maki-e (lacquerware) to the largest possible surface. This is the second product in the "Shooting Star" series, which was released in February 2020.
