UGG®, a global lifestyle brand based in California, is launching the fourth installment of its 12X12 collection, the CA805 X Thermal sneaker. Starting in January 2020, the 12X12 collection will feature a different theme each month, showcasing UGG®'s inspirations, including art and nature, and showcasing the California landscape as seen through UGG®'s eyes.
Focusing on the technology disruption and innovation of Silicon Valley, the CA805 X Thermal sneaker combines a classic, street-inspired silhouette with a design that utilizes images captured by a special infrared camera. The palm trees, a symbol of UGG®'s home state of California, are depicted through the changing colors of heat mapping. The key color of these sneakers is black, and they're made with cutting-edge thermal material, creating a variable design that changes color with heat, revealing the heat mapping of palm trees - a truly noteworthy pair!
This collection will be sold in limited quantities at select shops around the world. In Japan, they will be available for purchase from May 8th on the UGG® official website (https://bit.ly/3f3SOOZ) and the atmos online shop (www.atmos-tokyo.com). They will also be available at all atmos stores (some exclusions apply), but please check the atmos official website for details on opening hours.
