On July 6, 2023, Japan time, Maison Valentino presented its Fall/Winter 2023-24 Haute Couture collection, "UN CHÂTEAU," at the Château de Chantilly in France.

Not the Château (a specific castle), but "En Château."
It is a place that does not belong to any particular place or time, yet it is also an expression of a philosophy of life, a symbol that should be analyzed, questioned and redefined.
Once a symbol of elitism and status, the château exists today, denying its history and taking on a new meaning. The nameless, universal château can exist anywhere, for anyone, as a public space that celebrates a new equality: beauty, individuality and freedom.

Eco-fur, cascading crystal jewelry, and nods to history bring extravagance to the collection.
T-shirts are transformed into ball gowns, and vintage Levi's® 501 XX Big E jeans become canvases for shimmering embroidery, elevating the everyday to the extraordinary.
Other jeans are reworked into new denim constructions featuring mind-blowing trompe-l'oeil beadwork.
It's an approach and philosophy that now characterizes the entire collection, inspiring a closer look. The precious is used to celebrate the everyday and its beauty, and equality without hierarchy.
