TRUNK Co., Ltd. will open a new boutique hotel in Tomigaya, Shibuya Ward on September 1, 2023. The second hotel under the Japanese hotel brand TRUNK(HOTEL), TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK will feature 25 guest rooms including five suites, a restaurant, and a rooftop pool and lounge.

Located in the heart of Tokyo yet adjacent to the lush greenery of Yoyogi Park, the hotel offers guests from Japan and abroad a luxurious and unique experience that embodies the essence of Tokyo, based on the concept of "Urban Recharge," where guests can enjoy both urban relaxation and stimulation at the same time to recharge their batteries for tomorrow. Keiji Ashizawa, one of Japan's leading architects and designers, was involved in the architecture and interior design, seamlessly incorporating the streetscape and atmosphere of the Tomigaya area into the hotel's buildings and rooms. Norm Architects, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, also collaborated on the interior design. The resulting space combines uniquely Japanese materials, techniques, and space-saving design with a modern Scandinavian feel and designs that make use of nature.
The artwork on display within the hotel is primarily by outsider artists. Following on from TRUNK(HOTEL) in Jingumae, the hotel collaborated with Yamanami Kobo, a welfare facility for people with disabilities in Shiga Prefecture, to create a special artwork for TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK. In addition, the hotel has curated a unique collection of works from Tokyo-based artists and young Japanese artists.

Located on Inokashira Street, PIZZERIA e TRATTORIA L'OMBELICO is an all-day dining restaurant open to not only hotel guests, but also local residents and the general public. The restaurant offers authentic pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven imported from Italy, as well as a variety of dishes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. It also serves a selection of Italian and other carefully selected natural wines. The restaurant is committed to environmental friendliness, actively using ingredients such as meat from sustainable livestock farms, eco-labeled seafood, and non-standard vegetables that would otherwise be discarded. With food with a story to tell and a sophisticated yet warm interior, we offer an original menu that combines traditional dishes from various parts of Italy with the finest ingredients and seasonings from Japan.

TRUNK (POOL CLUB) features an infinity pool on the rooftop overlooking Yoyogi Park. This pool, exclusive to guests, is a special place where you can relax both body and mind with its open-air view throughout the day.

This boutique hotel brand from Japan opened in Jingumae, Shibuya Ward in May 2017, based on the concept of "socializing," which means "everyone can live their daily lifestyle in their own way, naturally and with a sense of social purpose." In 2019, TRUNK(HOUSE) opened in Kagurazaka, a former geisha training hall renovated into an exclusive rental accommodation facility. In September 2023, TRUNK(HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK is scheduled to open in Tomigaya, Shibuya Ward. Aiming to create hotels with different concepts for each location, the brand offers a one-of-a-kind luxury accommodation experience.
