Hummel's high-end line, HUMMEL HIVE, has been revamped for the Spring/Summer 2020 season. Following the release of the Scandinavian-inspired multicolored "Ice Cream Pack," the "Vegan Pack" will be available exclusively on April 15th at the official S-Rush online store and elsewhere.
■Ethical Sneaker Collection
Unlike typical vegetarians, vegans are strict vegetarians who avoid not only meat and fish, but also animal products such as eggs and dairy products. Furthermore, some people are known as "ethical vegans," who respect animal life by avoiding animal products in their daily lives in addition to their diet.
The Vegan Pack released by Hummel this time uses artificial leather, vegan leather and vegan suede, rather than animal-derived leather. It has been produced using a production process that is considerate of the natural environment. Recycled polyester and reused rubber have also been used, resulting in an ethical pair of sneakers.
The Vegan Pack, based on Hummel's archive models, comes in four types of white-based sneakers. EDMONTON PREMIUM is a Danish-style dad shoe based on handball shoes from the 1990s. POWER PLAY PREMIUM has a clean and calm atmosphere with an 80's tennis style. SEOUL PREMIUM is an 80's handball shoe with distinctive chevron line panels. VICTORY PREMIUM is based on a 70's court shoe. Archive models from the 70's to 90's have been revived as a vegan pack.
