Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore has temporarily closed as a measure against COVID-19. In addition to the exhibitions that were suspended due to the temporary closure, many other artworks are now available on its online store.

The store, located on the 6th floor of GINZA SIX, was hosting contemporary artist Hiroshi Mori's solo exhibition "MOSHA" and photographer Kotori Kawashima's photo exhibition "Good Morning, Hello, I Love You" as its main events for its third anniversary. However, as part of its COVID-19 prevention measures, the store has suddenly closed temporarily and these exhibitions have also been postponed. Instead, with the aim of allowing people to enjoy their time at home, the store is proposing an online "life with art."

Works by Hiroshi Mori and Kotori Kawashima, as well as many other artworks, are available for viewing online. They are also available for purchase at the online store.

One of the exhibitions that was postponed was Mori Hiroshi's "MOSHA," a memorable solo exhibition by Mori, who remixes images of subculture with famous paintings from art history, and uses the latest technology to create works with a unique texture. The exhibition featured new works from Mori's previous series, such as the "Lichtenstein x J-pop" series, which remixes Roy Lichtenstein with Japanese subculture, and the "Japanesque" series, which remixes old Japanese paintings with anime, as well as new series such as the "Portraits" series and the "Damien Hirst Parody" series.
Works from this exhibition are introduced and available for purchase on the "OIL by Bijutsu Techo" page (https://oil.bijutsutecho.com/artist/887).

Photographer Kawashima Kotori's "Good Morning, Hello, I Love You" exhibition, which was also suspended, was held to commemorate the publication of her photo book. The 400-page book weaves together a collection of photographs taken over a period of approximately 20 years, primarily in Tokyo, where Kawashima has lived since the age of 8, and includes many unpublished works from the early days of her career. The many small, everyday objects, photographed as if to capture the emotions of the moment, subtly suggest that the world is filled with beauty and kindness that are often overlooked. The work, which is mainly an edited collection of landscape photographs, differs from his previous works, which have often featured people in the lead role, and offers a glimpse into a new side of the artist.

The works in this exhibition are introduced and available for purchase on the "OIL by Bijutsu Techo" page (https://oil.bijutsutecho.com/artist/742).

In addition, art works currently on sale at Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore can also be viewed online and purchased on the "OIL by Bijutsu Techo" page (https://oil.bijutsutecho.com/gallery/730).
