Breathtakingly beautiful pure white shirts and dresses have been introduced from Valentino's Spring/Summer 2020 collection.


This is "LE BLANC," a new project unveiled for the first time this season. LE BLANC is a collection that incorporates the maison's proud DNA, such as couture techniques and the use of materials, into daywear.


Based on the Latin concept of "tabula rasa," which means a blank sheet of paper, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli focused on the powerful and magnificent color of pure white. Using the white shirt, a staple in everyone's wardrobe, as a base, he created items that could truly be described as "daywear couture," made using couture techniques, such as voluminous shirts with puff sleeves and ruffles, and shirt dresses combined with chiffon.


At first glance, these items appear to be made from the same cotton fabric, but in fact, different weights of fabric have been chosen for each piece depending on the volume, how the fabric falls, and how the silhouette is created.



Le Blanc items will be available at Valentino stores across Japan and at www.valentino.com from March 6th.
