For "PRADA MODE Tokyo," the Teien Art Museum will be transformed into a space where visitors can experience various forms of art. The historic building and the surrounding gardens will be transformed into a space where visitors can experience site-specific artworks curated by Kazuyo Sejima. The Western-style garden will feature a wooden, organic temporary space for conversation, and various other areas will be created throughout the venue for guests to enjoy.

"I am delighted to be hosting PRADA MODE TOKYO at the Teien Art Museum. This event will be a space for new forms of communication, bringing together architecture, gardens, art, and music. It is an attempt to transform the museum into a new public space."

Kazuyo Sejima, Director of Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum

PRADA MODE TOKYO will feature a diverse program, including live music performances spanning a variety of genres, from classical to minimal and analog, talk shows, tea ceremony experiences, original workshops, and a food service featuring Japanese and international delicacies. About Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum
The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum opened in 1983 as an art museum harmonizing with the lush gardens and utilizing the space of the Art Deco-style building originally built as the residence of Prince Asaka in 1933. A new wing was completed in 2014, and the main building, main gate, tea room, and other facilities were designated Important Cultural Properties of Japan in 2015. As a museum where visitors can enjoy historical architecture, artworks, and lush gardens all at once, we aim to be a unique place for creative expression.
