In conjunction with Berlin Fashion Week, an exhibition by photographer Mario Testino, known for his collaborations with fashion magazines like Vogue and numerous global brands, has opened at the Kulturforum cultural facility in central Berlin.

Large enlarged photographs line the exhibition room. The images feature familiar faces from film and television, including household names like Brad Pitt and Madonna. Lady Gaga, who has garnered attention not only for her music but also her fashion sense, is also one of them. Her photo, which appeared on the cover of Vogue, shows her dressed up in a pink wig. Her portrait, gazing into the camera, is elegant and beautiful.

Particularly eye-catching at the venue are the photographs of world-famous fashion models. Kate Moss, who made her mark as a fashion model, was a frequent subject of Testino's work. Also, a photograph capturing only Carmen Kaas's face, with her lips painted red and her eyes accentuated with white, blue, and green makeup, exudes a unique allure. Despite the simple composition, the vivid colors create a strong, unforgettable impression.

The exhibition "in your face" has been touring the world, having been shown in Argentina and Brazil before arriving in Berlin with 125 works. This marks its first appearance in Europe. "I'm excited to be showing this exhibition in Europe for the first time, and in Berlin, which plays such a major role in my work," says Testino. True to his words, his inspiration from Berlin is evident in the works on display, which were photographed in the city.
