IKEA's first urban store, "With Harajuku," will open in front of Harajuku Station next spring

The 14 shops and restaurants that will open at WITH HARAJUKU, which will open in April 2020 in front of Harajuku Station overlooking Meiji Jingu Shrine, have been decided. IKEA will open its first urban store, and the complex will be lined with unique restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Centered around WITH HARAJUKU STREET, a passage connecting Harajuku Station and Takeshita Street, the facility will increase the vibrancy and mobility of the entire town, further revitalizing the area. The complex will house trendsetting stores selling fashion, food, beauty, and lifestyle goods from the second basement floor to the third and eighth floors. The third floor will house the WITH HARAJUKU HALL, an event hall that plays a key role in promoting Harajuku culture, and the shared space LIFORK Harajuku. The fourth floor and above will house the WITH HARAJUKU RESIDENCE, a rental residence.

With Harajuku Street
On the street facing Harajuku Station, IKEA Harajuku will open its first urban store in Japan. Offering solutions to everyday needs and a variety of sustainable products in an inspiring environment, the store also offers a cafe where customers can enjoy a meal.

Snow Peak, which continues to promote a nature-oriented lifestyle through its high-quality outdoor gear, has opened a new store concept, "Snow Peak LAND STATION HARAJUKU," which will serve as a hub for sharing the charms of local areas across Japan. In addition to gear and apparel, the store will also offer local products (souvenirs). Take-out drinks are also available, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy their time.

One of the largest Dr. Martens stores in Tokyo has also opened. It will offer a full line of shoes for kids, women, and men, including Made in England.

Other stores opening at the mall include the new large-scale UNIQLO Harajuku store, Shiseido's Beauty Square and SABFA hair and makeup academy and studio, Oshman's Harajuku store, which will be reborn in the original location, and the watch specialty stores Seiko Boutique with Harajuku and Seiko Prospex Boutique with Harajuku, all of which are elaborately designed by leading brands from various fields.

Shiseido Parlour The Harajuku has opened on the 8th floor as a park-view restaurant offering an elegant experience. Shiseido Parlour, which has had its flagship store in Ginza since its founding in 1902, is opening a branch in Harajuku for the first time in 29 years. Guests can enjoy French-based course meals and wines carefully selected by sommeliers. The interior was designed by Ura Kazuya, who also worked on "TWILIGHT EXPRESS Mizukaze." With views overlooking the Meiji Jingu Shrine forest, it will create a scene for precious memories.

Brasserie cafe "Au Bacanal" has reopened its flagship store in Harajuku after 18 years. In addition to its classic menu, it is proposing a new menu called Japonisme. A new Au Bacanal has been born, fusing French and Japanese food cultures.

EATALY is opening its first store in the Harajuku area. In addition to being able to enjoy delicious food at the restaurant and excellent wine at the bar, the market carries over 300 types of products.

In addition to this, the area is lined with many unique restaurants, cafes and shops, including flagship stores such as Starbucks Coffee, THE ALLEY, Japan's first concept tea store, and MACCHA HOUSE, which is spreading traditional Japanese matcha culture overseas.
