Louis Vuitton will release four bags from its new "New Classics" men's leather goods line, designed by men's artistic director Virgil Abloh, on November 8th.

The "New Classics" bags are a new interpretation of the leather goods concept by Virgil Abloh, taking into account the physique, behavior, and mindset of modern men. Delving deep into the Maison's archives, Abloh has redesigned three iconic Louis Vuitton bags with subtle changes. The pieces are crafted from Monogram Eclipse canvas and feature screws featuring his new signature Monogram Flower motif.

The Steamer PM (398,000 yen) is a reinterpretation of the chic Steamer bag, which was first created in 1901, as an elegant, fashionable and functional business bag. The "Soft Trunk" (372,000 yen), a perfect embodiment of the Maison's trunk-making tradition, retains its distinctive details, such as metallic finishes, but has been redesigned to be more body-friendly using supple leather. The matte chain and leather shoulder strap is removable, making it suitable for a variety of occasions.
Also available is the "Mini Soft Trunk" (326,000 yen), which is smaller than the "Soft Trunk" and has a modern and sporty finish. The "Pochette Volga" (147,000 yen), despite its small size, has enough storage space for three smartphones and features a hybrid design. These four bag models will appear in a variety of materials in Virgil Abloh's upcoming men's collection. The materials and colors used will evolve with the fashion show, collection, and pre-collection, embodying a new vision of men's leather goods.
