Hummel's high-end line, HUMMEL HIVE, is now releasing four new sneaker styles and seven models for its Fall/Winter 2019 collection.


This collection brings Scandinavian heritage to a modern setting, returning to the brand's roots. The 90s-inspired archive styles reflect the brand's Nordic Danish roots with minimalist silhouettes, traditional aesthetics, and sporty details.

"SEOUL HERITAGE" (12,000 yen)
"SEOUL HERITAGE" (12,000 yen), a reproduction model of the "SEOUL" handball shoes released in the '80s, is an archive model that reproduces the full-grain leather upper, terry cloth used for the lining, and coloring.

"MINNEAPOLIS" (10,000 yen), based on the basketball shoes that were first produced in the '80s, is a shoe that is reminiscent of the models from that time in terms of functionality, with an EVA cup sole and a rubber sole for improved grip.

Both are available in sizes 40-43 (25.5-28.0cm).

"EDMONTON SANDDOLLAR" (8,000 yen)

"EDMONTON SANDDOLLAR" (8,000 yen) is a voluminous sneaker based on the 1990s handball shoe "EDMONTON." It comes in seasonal and outdoor colors inspired by the Scandinavian morning sun.

The popular model "MARATHONA" (11,000 yen), based on a running shoe released in 1983, comes in seasonal colors inspired by the Scandinavian morning sun. The collection combines feminine pink with pastel yellow.

Both are available in sizes 37-43 (23.0-28.0cm).

To coincide with the Japanese launch, models Takuma Iwasaki and Nanami were photographed wearing sneakers from this collection in various locations around Tokyo, showcasing Nordic street style. The apparel features a collaboration model with Willy Chavarria.

Sales will be exclusive to Hummel's online store, the official S-Rush online store, and S-Rush stores.
