Louis Vuitton will release a total of 11 items from its Fall/Winter 2019 textile collection, a collaboration with American artist Jonas Wood, on September 13th.

The 11-piece collection offers a playful reinterpretation of Louis Vuitton's iconic Monogram pattern. Silk and wool shawls, silk carrés, and silk and cotton stoles in sea blue and bright pink are adorned with delicate Monogram patterns. Above them are the "LV initials" and three motifs by Jonas Wood: an orange basketball, yellow flowers, and a black and white pot based on the work of his wife, the artist Shio Kusaka.

Two silk and wool shawls, one pink and the other blue, feature Jonas Wood's quirky, graffiti-style hand lettering. Both feature a Monogram pattern background, with one side featuring hand-drawn "Louis Vuitton" lettering in a symmetrical pattern, and the other featuring six dynamic variations of the "Louis Vuitton" lettering.
 "Artysquare" (61,000 yen)

Blooming in bright blues, reds, and greens, the two scarves evoke Jonas Wood's adopted hometown of Los Angeles and feature botanical motifs from his "Clippings" series.
The other scarf is reversible, with the Louis Vuitton signature evoking different moods. The intricate black and gray pattern that forms the background of one side is based on wallpaper that was in Jonas Wood's grandfather's house. The other side features a hand-painted pink "woodgrain print."
The collection also includes a cotton and silk stole featuring the same hand-painted pink "woodgrain print." The edge of the stole is adorned with hand-lettered "Louis Vuitton" and Jonas Wood's signature.
The collection will be available in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide, including Japan, from September 13th.
