Off-White™ is pleased to announce the release of its signature "OUT OF OFFICE" sneaker, the first drop since its debut in 2020 as part of the brand's Fall/Winter 2020/2021 menswear collection. Designed by Off-White™ founder Virgil Abloh and released amid lockdown, the sneaker pays homage to the power of out-of-the-box thinking and creativity to inspire a brighter future, when "work-from-home" rules made "leaving the office" a requirement rather than a state of mind.

The low-top silhouette draws inspiration from the sports, basketball, running and street scenes of the late 1980s and early '90s, a style era in which sneakers, previously relegated to athletic pursuits, became an everyday wardrobe staple. Combining these diverse cultural influences with Abloh's visionary rebellious spirit and distinct aesthetic, the sneaker becomes both a rejection of conventional norms and an invitation to self-expression.

"OUT OF OFFICE is about embracing the power of creativity, empowering people to escape the mundane and create their own worlds of limitless possibility," Abloh said at the time of the 2020 launch.
The shoe features a contrasting outsole with translucent gel insets, a classic perforated toe vamp, a ribbed heel, and an Off-White™ arrow logo on the upper.
This collection, available in different colorways for both men and women and featuring a new mid-top version, is an important part of the brand, bringing new creativity and expressiveness to sneakers.
"OUT OF OFFICE" will be sold at Off-White™ stores, select Off-White™ retailers, and the brand's official website www.off---white.com. In Japan, it will be released at the Off-White™ stores listed below and select retailers between May and July 2023. In addition, a dedicated 3D video billboard is being installed and a live broadcast is being held in Times Square in New York, Hangzhou, China, and Seoul, South Korea (until March 31st).
