WOOLRICH will be giving away a free art book, "WOOLRICH TOKYO ART BOOK," at THE CORNER in Shibuya. The book will be distributed via wild posting, where people can peel off and take home the stickers for four days only, from August 30th to September 2nd.

With a history spanning over 180 years, WOOLRICH has established itself as America's oldest outdoor brand. "WOOLRICH TOKYO ART BOOK" depicts that spirit of freedom and independence, "AMERICAN SOUL." The book features works by globally active Japanese artists and creators, inspired by the frontier spirit of founder John WOOLRICH, who dreamed of moving from Europe to the new world of America and building the WOOLRICH brand from scratch.

This project was produced under the supervision of Takuya Chiba, editor-in-chief of Tokyo-based international magazine Silver, who served as creative director. The cover art was an original artwork by Meguru Yamaguchi, a rising international artist, inspired by the brand's iconic red and black check pattern, "buffalo check." YOSHIROTTEN, a leading Tokyo artist known for creating new artwork using expressive techniques that transcend a variety of genres, was appointed as art director, and he has expressed the brand's history through original collage art.

In addition, the models "wearing Woolrich's philosophy" include stylist Tsuyoshi Noguchi, fashion designer Toru Nishiyama of WTAPS, Daisuke Obana of N. HOOLYWOOD, dancer Koharu Sugawara, model Yuka Mannami, and jazz trumpeter Takuya Kuroda, some of Tokyo's most in-demand and internationally active artists. The photos, shot by cutting-edge photographer Yusuke Yamatani, capture their "American soul." "My America," an essay by New York-based writer Yumiko Sakuma, is a beautiful reflection on the "AMERICAN SOUL."

Please note that peel-offs are limited to one book per person. The number of art books posted is limited, and posting may end before the end of the period.
