Valentino and UNDERCOVER have collaborated on the 2019-20 Fall/Winter men's collection, "VALENTINO in conversation with UNDERCOVER," which will be released sequentially from July 12th, starting with Valentino Omotesando and Ginza. 

The collection was created through a dialogue between Valentino Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli and Undercover Designer Jun Takahashi, based on the theme of "past and future." This is a rare collaboration in which both Valentino and UNDERCOVER have incorporated Takahashi's graphics into their respective pieces using their own unique techniques within the same season.

"VALENTINO in conversation with UNDERCOVER" will be available at Valentino Omotesando and Ginza from July 12th, at Dover Street Market Ginza from the 13th, and at Valentino men's stores nationwide from the 15th. In addition, a "tote bag" (10,000 yen) specially created for the launch of the collection will be sold exclusively at Valentino Omotesando from the 12th.

This time, not only the collection, but also the visuals for the season's WW campaign were produced by Undercover Productions, led by Takahashi. It combines Valentino's very classic and traditional beauty with the ephemeral beauty and rebellious spirit of Undercover's street culture. It expresses a modern interpretation of surrealism that indicates a new direction for Valentino. For Valentino, this type of collaboration, from collection to campaign, is a first, and it unfolds a worldview that is completely different from previous visuals.
