Node Hotel, a hotel based on the concept of "an art collector's home," opened in Shijo Nishinotoin, the heart of Kyoto, on July 26th. Reservations began being accepted on the official website from July 1st.

1st Floor Entrance
Kyoto is a city that attracts attention from travelers from all over the world. Currently, the number of accommodation facilities in Kyoto is increasing to meet this inbound demand. The newly opened Node Hotel is a hotel reminiscent of an "art collector's home," where guests can feel close to art in their daily lives. It was created as a place to experience an ideal lifestyle, rather than extraordinary luxury.

Amidst a simple facade, art radiates presence yet blends seamlessly with the surroundings, while authentic furniture and decorations create a sophisticated space. Enjoy a rich experience where art can be experienced as a part of your daily life.

1F Public Space
The public space on the first floor of the building features numerous works by internationally acclaimed artists, including Barry McGee, Bernard Frize, Tomoo Gokita, Shinro Ohtake, Nobuyoshi Araki, and Yukimasa Ida, whose works have been collected through galleries and art fairs around the world. In addition, the building hosts exhibitions and pop-up stores in collaboration with artists and galleries, as well as events themed around art, design, fashion, and music. The space actively disseminates information, creating a place where cultures and people can come together. The first installment will be an exhibition of works by artist Takuro Kuwata, held from August 2nd to 25th.

Junior Suite
Artworks are displayed not only in public spaces but also in guest rooms. The sophisticated space features a calming gray theme, classic and authentic furniture, and contemporary art pieces. The furniture is custom-ordered from overseas and is original, handmade by artisans using materials such as wood, stone, and iron. Care has also been taken with the fabrics, amenities, and loungewear. Guest rooms range from 10m² single rooms to over 50m² junior suites, catering to a wide range of guests and occasions.

1F Bar
The cafe dining bar on the hotel's first floor is based on the concept of "farm to table," and uses local Kyoto ingredients to serve a genre-less cuisine and wine that blends various food cultures from around the world. From breakfast to cafe, dinner, and bar, guests are provided with comfortable service that is tailored to their needs. Open to non-guests, you can also enjoy your meal alongside the art in the public space on the first floor.

A "node" is a point of intersection. The hotel aims to form a community that fosters interaction between travelers from Japan and abroad and local residents, creating opportunities for people to interact and cultures to connect, and to become an asset to the city that will last for decades to come.
