A pop-up event for BOTANIZE, an exotic plant shop owned by Yokomachi Ken, will be held from July 10th to 23rd at Style Up in Men's Contemporary on the 6th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building.



Botanize, run by Yokomachi Ken, president of anea design, is a shop that specializes in exotic plants such as tuberous plants, cacti, and succulents. The shop is also highly regarded as the one that started the tuberous plant boom, and currently has physical stores in Shirokane and Daikanyama, Tokyo. The pop-up at Isetan Men's will feature a wide range of plants, from varieties that will appeal to enthusiasts to plants that even beginners can easily purchase, with a focus on tuberous plants. Products that embody the worldview of botanizing will also be on display. Another highlight will be sneakers in collaboration with VANS. They will be released on July 13th, ahead of other stores. The sneakers are based on VANS' classic model "ERA," and feature the Euphorbia Obesa, a plant that can be said to be the origin of Yokocho, printed on the insole. The midsole is a special edition with "EXOTIC PLANTS LOVERS" engraved on it.
