A collaboration with photographer Izumi Miyazaki was unveiled at Valentino's 2019 Pre-Fall Collection show in Tokyo in November 2018. This special collection will be available at Valentino Ginza and Valentino stores nationwide on May 29th.



Born in 1994, Izumi Miyazaki is a rising star in photography, actively expanding her activities both in Japan and abroad. While still a student, she posted surrealistic photographs of herself on Tumblr, immediately garnering attention online. Her work featuring rice balls, which was exhibited at KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival 2018, is still fresh in our memory.


The collaboration items with Valentino are themed around Japanese beauty and culture, and include T-shirts and sweatshirts printed with photos taken specifically for the "VALENTINO TKY" store installation held at the Valentino Ginza store last year.

Other items in the lineup include dresses and outerwear worn at the show. In addition, to commemorate the launch of the items, a second piece has been created by Izumi Miyazaki specifically for Valentino. An installation will be held at Valentino Ginza from the release date, May 29th, until June 11th.
