STRICT-G, a men's apparel shop developed by Bandai Co., Ltd. (Taito Ward, Tokyo) that incorporates the world of Mobile Suit Gundam, and Yoshida & Co., Ltd.'s original brand, PORTER, will release a collaboration item on Saturday, December 22, 2012. Pre-orders are currently being accepted in-store and over the phone. PORTER's bags, made entirely in Japan and beloved for their durable construction and stylish design, are now available in a wine red color inspired by Char's Zaku from Mobile Suit Gundam. To capture Gundam's military vibe, the bag is modeled after the US Air Force's MA-1 flight jacket, with meticulous attention to detail incorporated into the design. The bag is extremely lightweight, and the soft feel of the bonded material is also appealing. Additionally, subtle touches like the Principality of Zeon emblem embroidered in the same color add a touch of understated detail. The collection includes five items: a 3-way briefcase, a waist bag, a vertical wallet, a horizontal wallet, and a multi-pouch. STRICT-G opened two stores, the Gundam Front Tokyo store and the NEOPASA Shizuoka store, simultaneously in April 2012 as authentic men's apparel shops that symbolize "COOL JAPAN." In November 2012, collaboration items with Onitsuka Tiger were also released.
