Gucci held a launch event for its new lipstick collection at the Doubles Club in New York on May 4th. Gucci's makeup line has been relaunched under the direction of creative director Alessandro Michele. The launch will be a new lipstick collection consisting of three textures.

The range includes "Rouge à Lèvres Satin," which has a satin-like finish; "Rouge à Lèvres Voile," which has a sheer, glossy texture; and "Baume à Lèvres," a lip balm that protects lip moisture with a translucent, natural finish. Guests who gathered at the launch event enjoyed applying their makeup by choosing their favorite from a total of 58 colors in three new lipstick varieties.

The lipstick was released on the same day as the launch event, in the US, Europe, and other locations, and at select locations on gucci.com. It is scheduled to be released in Japan in 2020.
