Five new shades have been added to Christian Louboutin's iconic Velvet Matte lip series. They will be released simultaneously on June 5th.
Inspired by Christian Louboutin's iconic red sole, Rouge Louboutin lip colors were launched in 2015. They feature a small bottle-like design and a crown-shaped cap resembling a turret. A small ring is attached to the top of the cap, and by threading a ribbon through it, they can be worn like a necklace.
Among the lip collection's three different textures—Velvet Matte, Silky Satin, and Sheer Voile—Velvet Matte is a particularly iconic series, popular for its matte yet moisturizing texture, powerful color payoff, and suede-like finish. A total of 13 shades have been released to date, and Rouge Louboutin is the only one to be offered in a sleek jet-black package.
