Yuko Higuchi is an artist who delicately depicts a fairy-tale-like, somewhat mysterious world featuring fantastical creatures, girls, mysterious characters and plants. Her love of the natural world and her playful, narrative-driven works are in perfect harmony with the Gucci aesthetic. Her first work for Gucci was for the Gucci Spring/Summer 2018 Children's Collection, featuring her signature cat and dog motifs. Since then, he has worked on wall art for the Gucci Garden in Florence and the facade wall art for Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura Tokyo in Ginza, Tokyo. In 2022, he worked on the Pop-Up project for Vault, Gucci's experimental concept shop, hand-painting artworks onto vintage bags repaired by Gucci artisans, creating masterpieces that are coveted by collectors.

"Higuchi Yuko Exhibition: CIRCUS FINAL END" is the final chapter of Higuchi Yuko's first large-scale solo exhibition, a nationwide touring exhibition (held at a total of nine venues) that began in 2019. The exhibition will feature approximately 1,000 works, including the approximately 500 that toured the country, as well as newly created masterpieces and unpublished works, inviting you into the fun yet somewhat sad world of a circus (CIRCUS) where unique characters unfold. A special Gucci corner will be set up within the exhibition venue as part of a circus scene, where visitors can see original artwork created specifically for Gucci, as well as previous collaboration items.

To celebrate the opening of "Yuko Higuchi Exhibition CIRCUS FINAL END," Gucci will launch a new collaboration collection exclusively in Japan. The collection features the characters that adorn the facade of Gucci Osteria Tokyo, located on Namiki-dori Street in Ginza, Tokyo, and Gucci's iconic bamboo-handle bags. A romantic world set in a forest inhabited by mysterious mushrooms and animals graces the Gucci Bamboo 1947 and Gucci Diana bags, as well as small leather goods, silk scarves, the Gucci Décor collection, and women's wear.
