[LOOK] Jenny Fax 2019-20 Fall/Winter Collection

Mar 26, 2019
JennyFax, created by Shueh Jen-Fang, presented its 2019-20 Fall/Winter collection on March 18th at Gallery JASMAC AOYAMA in Aoyama, Tokyo.

As with last season, Lotta Volkova was in charge of styling the runway looks.

Lotta Volkova is a world-renowned Russian stylist who has worked with Vetements, Balenciaga, and Gosha Rubchinskiy.

Devoted fans of the brand were also invited to the audience, and many girls gathered at the venue with expressions brimming with euphoria.

The reason I feel that Jenny Fax is one of the brands that cannot be left out when talking about Tokyo's fashion scene is that, unlike a simple Japanese, girly expression of "cute," they resonate with the anxieties and ambiguous feelings that lie deep in the hearts of young girls, and express them to the world through the medium of "fashion."

It is only thanks to Xue Zhen Fan's pure and passionate aesthetic that she is able to energetically express the fragile and ephemeral feelings of girls that may last for just a moment, or even forever, in the form of fashion.

I hope to continue to pursue this mysterious and fascinating fantasy world, which is difficult to describe in a single word, in the city of "TOKYO."
