OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY, a comprehensive beauty specialty store with its headquarters in Paris, opened its fourth directly managed store in Japan at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store on March 29th. This is the first store in the Osaka area.



The counter, entirely designed by artisans in the Burgundy region of France, is made of solid oak as a tribute to the historic OFFICINE UNIVERSELLE BULY. The polished carved wooden cabinet with its impressive Romanesque-style window is lined with timeless items.



In addition, to commemorate the opening, a limited edition face care coffret, the "Medaillon Universelle Skincare Kit" (15,000 yen), will be sold in limited quantities. The round box, with a design based on the 19th century French carvings that adorn the Officine Universelle Buly Paris store and bordered with gold foil, contains three facial items: the cleansing water "Eau Rectifier," the lotion "Eau Super Fine," and the cleansing milk "Les Netoyens." The new soap label "Savon Super Fine (neutral soap)" will also be available for pre-sale.



New wrapping paper is also available at the Osaka Umeda store, making it a great gift.

Victoire de Taillac, owner of Officine Universelle Buly and a specialist in the history of beauty, is scheduled to visit Japan on the opening day, March 29th.
