The new Spring/Summer 2019 collection, the third season of the UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON collaboration, will be available at UNIQLO stores nationwide and online from March 8th. A preview was held the day before the general release.
This season, authentic British style has been updated with a modern twist. The collection features unisex basic items that can be layered or worn reversibly, allowing for a variety of styling possibilities. The 12th floor, the top floor of the UNIQLO Ginza store, features the full "UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON" collection, creating a space that feels like a shop-in-shop.
The women's collection features 14 items, based on marine-inspired pieces such as striped ruffle dresses, tank tops, and linen scarves. Also featured are a hooded cropped blouson and culottes set, as well as dresses, blouses, and skirts made with textiles incorporating the paisley pattern seen on the JW ANDERSON runway.
The reversible trench coat worn by a model in the season visual, paired with a baisley-patterned dress, is expected to be a popular item. Available in two colors: the beige version has a pink lining, while the navy version features a blue-based check pattern, creating a completely different look on the inside and outside.

Another iconic item this season is the rugby shirt, with a modern color scheme named after the father of renowned rugby player Jonathan Anderson.
The reversible coat, which is also available for men, features a large hood. Available in three colors: navy x beige, navy x yellow, and khaki x green. The small size can also be worn by women.
