Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "the book you should read now" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Saturday, we will introduce a book selected by Shelf (3-7-4 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), a Harajuku bookshop that specializes in foreign books. This week, we will feature a special edition that focuses on a new form of photographic print that is not a book.
■ "RSP 1st SCARVES COLLECTION" by Orui Makoto (Director)
Orui Makoto, the legendary artist who has worked in the art direction of magazines such as "rockin'on," "purple MAGAZINE," and the early days of TOGA, as well as heading fiction, ink, and RSP (Radical Silence Production), and who has brought publications and exhibitions to the world, is launching a new project using fabric as a medium from Paris. The "SCARVES COLLECTION" is a limited edition scarf collection in which images created by photographers and artists are beautifully transferred onto carefully selected 100% silk twill from Italy.
For the project, four artists are selected once a year, and each artist creates a limited edition of 40 scarves.
