Online bookstore flotsam books will be hosting a pop-up shop for photobooks and photographers, "Offline PhotoBook Shop," at W+K+ Gallery in Nakameguro, Tokyo, for three days from January 18th to 20th.
This second edition of the event will be hosted by online bookstore flotsam books. This time, in addition to twelvebooks, which has been participating since the first event and handles domestic distribution and coordination of overseas photobooks, the shop will also welcome IACK, an alternative space run by Kanazawa-based photographer Yukito Kono, as booksellers. They will exhibit and sell newly arrived books and sale books selected under the theme of "DIG."
In addition, photographers such as Yusuke Yamatani, Yoko Kusano, and Masumi Ishida will be participating and selling their own photobooks and photographic works. Other participating artists include Shun Omiyama, Daisuke Matsumoto, Kohei Kanno, Yukito Kono, Marimo Oyama, Panorama Family, and Mayumi Hosokura.

"Looking at the books on display, picking one up, talking about them, wondering whether to buy one, buying one—these are normal things, but even if there's nothing special going on, just going to a bookstore and buying a book is incredibly fun, and I want to make this a place like that." (Takayuki Kobayashi, Owner of flotsam books)
