Asobiru, a multi-purpose experiential entertainment facility offering a wide range of experience-based content from the latest VR to craftsmanship, is renovating the Yokohama Central Post Office Annex, which is scheduled to have direct access to Yokohama Station's South Passage, and is set to open this spring.

Based on the concept of a "fun building near the station," the facility aims to create exclamation points of surprise and discovery by redesigning existing entertainment with "culture, creativity, and technology." Located in the Yokohama Central Post Office Annex, which is directly connected to Yokohama Station, one of Japan's leading terminals, the facility offers exciting experiences without having to travel far. Each floor will have a different theme, such as the latest technology, craftsmanship, or kids' activities. The entire building, measuring 2,000 sq. m (1,000 sq. m), will offer interactive content for everyone to enjoy.
 3rd Floor: "MONOTORY"
3rd Floor: "MONOTORY"
The second floor will feature a permanent interactive event floor, "ALE-BOX." Plans call for experiences like escape games, exhibitions, VR, and sports content, all of which can only be experienced here, utilizing cutting-edge technology and innovative ideas. The content will change regularly, and when the facility opens in early spring 2019, it will offer experiential content in collaboration with Kayac, a fun corporation.
The third floor will be home to MONOTORY, Japan's largest handmade experience floor, where craft workshops such as pottery, accessories, leather goods, and candle making will be held daily. More than 200 workshops are planned across 20 genres, with popular handmade artists and charismatic instructors running workshops as official artists every day, including model Hiroko Hatano, who runs the flower lifestyle production brand will Garden. The floor will also feature shops run by manufacturers of materials and tools that are representative of the handmade industry.

1st Floor "POST STREET"
POST STREET, located on the 1st floor at the east exit of Yokohama Station, is home to 18 highly talked-about restaurants, including the popular Kiyoken chain and the trending Noge izakaya. In one corner of the floor, there is a stage where performances can be held, allowing diners to enjoy live music while they dine. POST STREET can also be used as a passageway leading from Yokohama Station's Minami Passage to the city center at the east exit.
On the basement floor, there is PITCH CLUB, an amusement bar lounge based on the concept of a "high-quality playground for adults." In a luxurious space decorated with various art pieces, guests can enjoy cocktails designed by Japan's leading bartenders and wines made in Yokohama. The facility will offer a variety of activities, from classic games like billiards to new games utilizing technology.

"Kid's Traveler" (tentative name) on the 4th floor is an indoor kids' park designed to allow each child to become an adventurer traveling through space and explore play areas themed around seven different planets, allowing them to indulge in their curiosity. Akatsuki Group, active in the digital entertainment field, and Kenji Kobashi, a creative director who has worked on numerous large-scale events, have teamed up to co-produce a "space for essential play" that stimulates children's intellect and sensibilities. They plan to invite internationally renowned artists and creators to co-create events with children.
The rooftop will also feature a "multi-sports court" with space for one futsal court and one basketball court. They will actively host baseball classes taught by former professional baseball players, as well as schools and events run by top athletes. They also plan to rent out the court and hold fan sports events such as bubble soccer and archery hunts.
