Photographer and filmmaker Yoshiyuki Okuyama's new photo book, "Los Angeles/San Francisco," will be released on December 13th.


Yoshiyuki Okuyama is a photographer born in Tokyo in 1991. In 2011, he won the 34th New Cosmos of Photography Excellence Award, and in 2016, he won the 47th Kodansha Publishing Culture Award for Photography for "BACON ICE CREAM."

This photo book is the first in a series of photo book projects by Union Publishing Limited, publishers of the fashion magazine Union Magazine. It's a beautiful book packed with layers of small, casual emotions, each captured in screenshots of various everyday moments from a trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco. The art direction was by HIROYUKI KUBO.
