adidas Originals will release a total of seven new footwear and accessories from its collaborative collection "adidas Originals by Hender Scheme" with Hender Scheme, a Tokyo-based footwear brand created by Ryo Kashiwazaki, on November 24th.
This collection, the third since the collaboration began in Autumn/Winter 2017, focuses on running shoes equipped with adidas' unique latest technology and functionality. Kashiwazaki's desire to transform the original model into a new product has resulted in a new product in the historic ZX series, combining the essence of Hender Scheme's "NEW CRAFT" with Adidas's experienced production background.
"HS ZX 500 RM MT" F36047 (28,000 yen)
For footwear, the "HS ZX500 RM" has been released, based on the first ZX model, the "ZX 500," which was made in 1984 with a nylon and suede upper and EVA sole, and features iconic vegetable-tanned leather. Reimagined for the modern era with a BOOST™ foam midsole and two types of leather. Expressed with Hender Scheme's iconic materials and details, it offers the comfort and durability you expect from a sports shoe.
The "HS ZX 500 RM FL" (40,000 yen) uses smooth leather that makes the most of its natural nude color, and over time, it will develop a unique luster and charm depending on the owner's wearing style and condition. The "HS ZX 500 RM MT" (28,000 yen) comes in white and black and uses two types of vegetable-tanned leather, featuring a mesh upper and pull-cord lacing system. Enjoy the changes in the different materials, with the same smooth leather as the full leather model and shrink leather that has been dyed to develop a different texture over time.
"HS TOTE LARGE" (12,000 yen)
A total of four accessories will be released. Each is made from carefully considered functional materials and leather, which is iconic to Adidas and Hender Scheme and has a striking natural color and texture. The "HS SHOE CASE" (4,990 yen) has a smooth finish, while the "HS TOTE LARGE" (12,000 yen) and "HS TOTE SMALL" (7,990 yen), which are based on the design of Japanese wrapping cloth, and the three-panel "HS 3 PANEL CAP" (9,990 yen) are made from grained vegetable-tanned leather. The shoes will be available primarily at Adidas Originals Flagship Store Tokyo, Sukima Ebisu (Hender Scheme flagship store), Isetan Shinjuku, Dover Street Market Ginza, and United Arrows & Sons. A special room will also be set up at Hender Scheme's flagship store, Sukima Ebisu, from November 2nd to 6th.
