On October 27th, art director Niki Naruo renovated the restrooms on the basement floor of Laforet Harajuku into a space that also doubles as an art gallery. The first exhibition is a solo exhibition by photographer Hayao Ohno, which is running until April 7th, 2019.


Art director Niki Naruo, who has worked on several campaign visuals for the store, directed the new restrooms that double as art gallery, based on the concept of "a window to art and culture opened in the restrooms of Laforet Harajuku." (Design cooperation: Yamaya Akihiro)



The first artist to exhibit his works is photographer Ohno Hayao, who has worked on numerous fashion brands, magazines, artist photos, and advertisements. His works, which depict a fantasy world with a nostalgic atmosphere, are on display until April 7th, with the theme of "A god possessed by the charm of Harajuku."
