Each bookstore will act as a concierge, recommending "the book you should read now" to FASHION HEADLINE readers. Every Saturday, we will introduce books selected by Shelf, a Harajuku bookstore (3-7-4 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which specializes in foreign books.

This issue of Purple, the Fall/Winter 2018-19 issue, explores the city's unique myths, legends, values, images, dreams, past and present, as interest in Los Angeles has grown over the past decade and creative people have flocked to the city.

The magazine also features a full range of fashion pages, including an editorial page for COMME des GARÇON featuring Grace Hartzel, known as Hedi Slimane's favorite model, dressed in pale sherbet colors.




The voluminous hardcover style has become firmly established, and this time 14 different cover jackets have been produced in white cloth binding.
