Issey Miyake will open "GOOD GOODS ISSEY MIYAKE" in Daikanyama, Tokyo on September 1st. The store will span two floors, the first and second floors, and have a floor area of approximately 94 square meters. The store will stock a wide range of "quality items" and limited edition products, including bags and other accessories, as well as shirts, from across the Issey Miyake brand, including ISSEY MIYAKE, 132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE, BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE, and me ISSEY MIYAKE. A press day was held on August 30th, and the store interior was unveiled.

GOOD GOODS ISSEY MIYAKE is newly opening next to HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE / DAIKANYAMA. The store, whose spatial design was handled by Tokujin Yoshioka, is characterized by diagonally striped walls. The space, expressed using aluminum dyed a light green like fabric, is designed with a futuristic contrast between the texture of concrete and aluminum. The logo design was created by Katsumi Asaba.


The store's diagonal slits that run throughout the entire space not only give it a futuristic look, but also provide movable functionality that allows it to be converted into shelves or a hanger system, reflecting ISSEY MIYAKE's innovative manufacturing in a minimalist space. At the time of opening, the store will carry ISSEY MIYAKE, 132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE, BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE, and ME ISSEY MIYAKE. Also on sale will be items and special colorways exclusive to the store, such as ME ISSEY MIYAKE's Solid Bag, Big Stripe Trunk Pleated Bag, and Stripe Trunk Pleated Bag, as well as a beige men's shirt from 132 5. ISSEY MIYAKE.
