ILSE JACOBSEN is a Danish brand specializing in rain gear, including lace-up rubber boots, colorful rain boots, raincoats, and umbrellas. Their rain boots, available in over 100 designs and colors, are especially popular. Their boots are made with high-purity natural rubber harvested from rubber trees, rather than petroleum or animal-derived materials. Currently, a pop-up store is open until June 2nd at the Mixury event space on the third floor of the main building of the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store, and from June 24th to 30th at Good Shock Place on the first floor of the Osaka Takashimaya department store. The event will feature an advance sale of two new colors for the 2015 Spring/Summer collection: the elegant greige "ATMOSPHERE" and the purple "MULBERRY." The long boots are priced at ¥23,000, the half-length boots at ¥20,000, and the short boots at ¥17,000.
