ASICS will release the second collaboration shoe with Bulgarian designer Kiko Kostadinov, the "GEL-BURZ 2," in three colors starting August 10th.
The "GEL-BURZ 2" (30,000 yen) being released this time comes in three colorways. All of the colors are inspired by traditional pottery reminiscent of Kiko Kostadinov's native Bulgaria, and are in line with his latest clothing collection. The silhouette combines the sole of the GEL-NIMBUS 20 running shoe with the upper of the GEL-VENTURE 6 trail walking shoe. The previous model, the GEL-BURZ 1, featured a sheer TPU film on the ASICS stripe, but this time, leather panels have been used. ASICS technology, including lightweight and cushioning, is incorporated throughout. The video and image visuals released to coincide with the release were also created by Kiko Kostadinov, and feature visuals that match the natural backgrounds of each shoe's colorway.
