Kamawanu, a tenugui specialty store, is holding a project called "Tokyo Tenugui Meguri," showcasing original tenugui designs created in collaboration with various shops in Tokyo.
For a limited time from August 1st to 31st, a special website called "Meguri Map" will introduce 78 shops selling the original tenugui.

The tenugui towels, which have been created in collaboration with a variety of shops and facilities, from general stores and cafes to museums and aquariums, all feature unique designs.


In addition, an event will be held to commemorate the 31st anniversary of Kamawanu Daikanyama Store on August 28th.
Tenugui from 52 of the shops participating in the Tokyo Tenugui Tour will be sold at the Daikanyama store, and events are planned such as the sale of tenugui that can only be obtained at the Daikanyama store, a chutsu-dyeing workshop, and the serving of shaved ice.
