The "Disney Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary Collection | Laforet Harajuku," celebrating the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse's screen debut, opened at Laforet Harajuku on August 23rd. Between the first day and September 17th, pop-up shops featuring creators with ties to Laforet Harajuku will also be open.

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse's screen debut, a limited-edition merchandise project centered around Mickey Mouse is being developed. Approximately 50 shops within the building will produce original Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse fashion items and sell them for a limited time.

A pop-up shop will be open at CONTAINER on the second floor of Laforet Harajuku from August 23rd to September 17th, where works by creators with ties to Laforet Harajuku will be exhibited and original products will be sold, as well as advance sales of Mickey Mouse 90th anniversary items.

Participating creators include Yoshida Uni, who works on campaign visuals; Konishi Shinji, who is in charge of hair and makeup for fashion magazines, advertisements, and for many musicians, actors, and shows; Steve Nakamura, who has served as art director for Laforet Harajuku's main annual advertising visuals since 2015; Mita Shinichi, stylist and creative director at NF, led by Sakanaction's Yamaguchi Ichiro; Yago Naonori, art director who has worked on CD jackets and music videos for artists such as RADWIMPS; and YAR, the creative team headed by art director YOSHIROTTEN.
