Alex Prager's 2014 work "Face in the Crowd" became a huge hit and was also used as the main image for Paris Photo 2013, the international photography fair held in Paris every autumn (November 14-17, 2013). This is the first retrospective photo book to look over the photographer's entire series.

Known as one of the most original image-makers of our time, she works fluidly between photography and film, incorporating influences from a wide range of disciplines, including Hollywood, experimental film, popular culture, and street photography, to create and capture exquisite scenes. Her haunting scenes are imbued with a captivating and distinctive aesthetic, and her meticulous compositions are both familiar and strange.

This book is the first retrospective of this popular artist, who has achieved both popular and artistic acclaim. Covering more than 120 images from her career to date, it serves as a fascinating introduction to her creative trajectory.





From June to October 2018, The Photographer's Gallery in London Gallery) and held an exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Le Locle in Switzerland from November 2018 to January 2019.
