This nature experience event, which was first held last year, is themed around "Adults Enjoying Nature with Children." It has been expanded since last year, with new features, including a "Kids' Park" with wooden play equipment for children, a giant wooden deck where adults can enjoy forest bathing, and hammocks set up throughout the park. More than 10 food trucks from specialty shops will also be set up, including a coffee shop serving premium ice cream without artificial colors or preservatives.
The "Kids Park" in the picnic area, which was popular with parents and children last year, now features athletic equipment themed around coexistence with nature, including a wooden balance beam and tree stumps for playing old-fashioned hopscotch. Adults can also relax barefoot on the bamboo flooring, and there are even hammocks available, allowing visitors to enjoy a relaxing forest bath. Enjoy quality time surrounded by Yokohama's natural beauty.

Around the picnic area, the Bubble Man will be performing photogenic bubble performances every day. At the "Kids Park Side Stage" in the picnic area, Nijino Picture Book Store Caravan will be hosting a live picture book reading session entitled "Picture Books x Music" for parents and children to enjoy.

More than 10 food trucks will be set up in Donut Square. One of the most notable is "Lost & Found," which drew huge lines last year. They serve their signature "chicken over rice," a dish that is popular at New York food carts and is said to be a New Yorker's favorite. Also set up is "Mighty Steps Coffee Stop," where you can enjoy specialty coffee along with premium ice cream made without artificial colors or preservatives. The ultimate combination of coffee and ice cream is delicious enough to appeal to both children and adults. Additionally, "Shokudo POCO," which serves donuts and quiches made with organic ingredients, will be open for a limited time on the 26th. There are plenty of shops to fill your stomach even after all that energetic running around.
In addition to the food trucks, there will also be a mobile bookstore called "BOOK TRUCK," run by the owner of "Mita Shoten," a small bookstore located at Nishi-Yokohama Station on the Sotetsu Line, who changes his selection to suit each destination, delivering books so you can enjoy the event all day long.

At the picnic area and outdoor activity center, "Harapeko Megane," a husband-and-wife illustration duo consisting of Harada Shinya and Seki Kaori, who love to eat and whose work centers around "food and people," will be holding a workshop on May 26th to make bento boxes using magical "Harapeko Paper," which allows anyone to make delicious meals. Additionally, on the 27th, art unit "Dui," which runs a children's art class in Yokohama, will be holding a workshop where participants can create a picture book by layering various types of paper, drawing on it, cutting it with scissors, and creating a book that tells a new story each time it is read.

The key visual features an illustration by picture book author and graphic designer Dick Bruna.
This event, which was originally held in August last year, has been relocated to May, when the fresh greenery is beautiful and it is comfortable to spend time outdoors, allowing parents and children to enjoy nature to the fullest. Why not spend some time in nature with your family on an early summer weekend?
