Animal photographer Mitsuaki Iwago's new photo exhibition, "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk 2," will be held at the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from May 2nd to 14th.


Mitsuaki Iwago is an animal photographer whose field spans every region of the globe. He has made photographing cats his life's work for over 40 years, and his NHK BS Premium program, "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk," which began airing in 2012, has captivated cat fans across the country. The exhibition, titled "Photo Exhibition: Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk 2," will feature approximately 170 photos of unique cats from 16 carefully selected regions from over 60 locations around the world, including Chikinho, a popular cat from Copacabana Beach in the southeast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and White's Rice, the mascot cat of a pizza shop in New York, the largest city in the United States.

Talk shows and autograph sessions with Mitsuaki Iwago himself will also be held at the venue on May 3rd, 4th, 12th, and 13th. Come meet the cats of the world this Golden Week.
