Brillia SHORTSHORTS THEATER ONLINE, a lifestyle web media that distributes short films for free, presents seasonal short films in its Friday series "Weekend Short Films." This week's feature is "The Fantastic Love of Beeboy & Flowergirl," a short film that appears realistic yet somehow portrays a fantastical world.



《Synopsis》
Peter is stalked by bees, and Elsa collects flowers from all over the world. Their life together is fraught with difficulties. However, their world of love is filled with a world that is not real, but unreal. Origami-like flowers, a colorful room, and a blurry view through protective clothing create a world that seems realistic yet somehow fantastical.

The film begins with the words, "When talking about the real world, we must not forget about fantasy." It's the perfect viewing spot for a springtime filled with flowers and a dreamy atmosphere.


This film was also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival, and director Clemens Roth is currently working on his first feature film. We look forward to his future endeavors.
